JONESBORO -- Since beating Texas State in the regular-season finale last week, Arkansas State players have been resting while the coaches have been on the recruiting trail.
Coach Blake Anderson has had an additional concern: Keeping his coaching staff intact.
So far, so good.
Anderson said Friday during a news conference to kick off preparations for ASU's New Orleans Bowl game Dec. 19 against Louisiana Tech that four assistant coaches have received job offers since the regular season ended last Saturday.
Most notable among the group was offensive coordinator Walt Bell, who confirmed Friday that he was offered and turned down the head coaching job at Louisiana-Monroe.
