The Arkansas State women's basketball team's season ended Monday night with a 74-68 loss to Texas-El Paso at the Don Haskins Center in the second round of the WNIT in El Paso, Texas.
The Red Wolves (27-6) won the Sun Belt Conference regular-season title with a 19-1 record, but lost to Troy in the semifinals of the conference tournament March 11 in New Orleans.
It was the second consecutive season that ASU's season ended in the second round of the WNIT. Middle Tennessee beat ASU in last year's tournament.
Aundrea Gamble finished with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead ASU.
