DALLAS, Texas (9/1/18) – The Arkansas State volleyball squad fell behind 2-0, but battled back to force a decisive fifth set before losing 3-2 (19-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 13-15) to North Carolina State in both teams’ last match of the SMU Doubletree Classic at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, Texas.
A-State (2-4) fell behind 18-10 in set one, but was able to climb within 19-17 with a 7-1 run, capped by a kill from Peyton Uhlenhake. However, the Wolfpack ended the set on a 6-2 run to win 25-19. NC State (3-2) raced out to a 16-9 edge in set two, but the Red Wolves battled back to tie the frame twice and trailed 21-20 after a kill by Macey Putt.
