@AStateVB Comes Back to Defeat South Alabama 3-2

JONESBORO, Ark. (9/23/18) – The Arkansas State volleyball team fell behind 0-2, but rallied to win in five sets 3-2 (24-26, 21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-9) over South Alabama Sunday afternoon inside First National Bank Arena as the Red Wolves won their eighth straight match.

Carlisa May finished the match with 29 kills, a career high and the most kills by an A-State (10-5, 2-0 SBC) player in the last 10 seasons. She accumulated those 29 kills on a .310 hitting percentage and now has 1,569 for her career, the third most in A-State history. Macey Putt and Peyton Uhlenhake tallied 12 and 11 kills, respectively, while Ellie Watkins handed out 54 assists.
