(9/7/18) – The Arkansas State volleyball team bounced back from a tough loss Thursday night with a pair of wins over Southeast Missouri 3-2 (25-15, 21-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-12) and Providence 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-20) in the second day of competition Friday at the Kangaroo Classic being held at the Swinney Recreation Center on the campus of UMKC in Kansas City, Mo.
A-State (4-5) dominated the first set against Southeast Missouri (6-3) by jumping out to a 21-10 advantage after a kill by Carlisa May. The Red Wolves would go on to win the set 25-15 after an attack error.
