JONESBORO, Ark. (1/14/18) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team wrapped up competition at its host tournament, the Mid-Winter Invitational, Sunday at Hijinx Family Entertainment Center in Jonesboro with a fourth-place finish.
A-State (36-16) squared off against Tulane in its first match of the day and the match was tied 3-3 (232-184, 160-167, 159-179, 179-171, 179-142, 186-196) through six games. The Red Wolves bowled an impressive 279 in the decisive game seven opposed to the Green Wave’s 192 to take the match 4-3.
The team advanced to play Sam Houston State in its next match and fell behind 2-0 (157-179, 198-246) to the Bearkats.
