JONESBORO, Ark. (3/21/17) – Arkansas State junior Jeremy Brown has been named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Brown, a native of Festus, Mo., hit .462 and picked up seven RBI in the team’s four games last week as the Red Wolves went 2-2, including winning two of three against ULM in A-State’s conference-opening series. Additionally, he posted a .611 on-base percentage, a .692 slugging percentage, scored three runs, and hit his third home run of the season, which is tied for the team lead. Defensively, he played perfect defense with 11 assists and 14 putouts.
