JONESBORO — Arkansas State football coach Blake Anderson says two football players who were arrested on drug charges earlier this week have been suspended from the New Orleans Bowl.
Anderson said in a news release Thursday that Chris Stone and Tyler Trosin were suspended for violating team rules. Anderson did not mention the arrests.
Stone, Trosin and former player Jeremy Fulcher were arrested early Tuesday. Stone and Trosin now face felony charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and furnishing prohibited articles while Fulcher is charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
