HOUSTON, Texas (11/1/24) – With pinfall low for all 18 teams, the Arkansas State women's bowling team totaled a program-best Baker 5-game total of 1,225 pins in the final match of the day to lead the event following the first day of competition.
Averaging 181.8 pins over the first four matches, the Red Wolves found their groove in the fifth match of the day. A-State rolled a program-best Baker total of 1,225 against Alabama State to close out the day, one of only two 5-game totals over 1,000 Friday. The Red Wolves rolled all five games of that match over 200 pins after downing 200 or more pins just four times in the first four matches.
