A-State’s Huseman Advances to U.S. Amateur Match Play

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (8/16/16) – Arkansas State junior men’s golfer Andrew Huseman completed stroke-play competition Tuesday at the U.S. Amateur tied for 30th place, making him one of 64 players advancing to the match-play portion of the prestigious tournament.

Huseman was one of 312 players competing in stroke play at Oak Hills Country Club the last two days, carding an opening-round 69 on Monday before coming back to shoot a 71 today. He completed stroke play with an even-par 140 for both rounds combined, making him one of 11 players to tie for 30th place.
