turned in a nine-save performance as the Arkansas State women’s soccer team battled Saint Louis to a 1-1 draw Friday evening at Hermann Stadium.
For the second straight match the Red Wolves (1-0-2) played to a tie, but did so this time on the road in a tough environment to play in. This also marked the first time in school history that Arkansas State has played to a draw in back-to-back contests.
Furio got A-State on the scoreboard early in the match with a cross to the far left side of the net for her first goal of the season.
