PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/9/24) – The second round of the 2024-25 season for the Arkansas State women's golf team was historic as the Red Wolves carded a program record low round of 6-under par 278 at the Golfweek Fall Challenge.
A-State's round of 278 topped the previous record by three strokes, set last season at the Diamante Intercollegiate and the 2022-23 USA Intercollegiate. The showing vaulted the Red Wolves up to seventh in the team standings, up two spots from a tie for ninth after the opening round. UNC Wilmington leads the field at 4-under par 564 with Campbell (-1), UNC Greensboro (E), High Point (+3), UAB (+5) and Charlotte (+5) ahead of A-State in the team standings.
