With the win, the Red Wolves rise to 13-10 overall and 5-5 in league action. Georgia State drops to 5-16 overall and 2-9 in Sun Belt play. A-State remains undefeated (11-0) against the Panthers since they rejoined the Sun Belt in 2013.
Carlisa May led the Red Wolves’ offense with a double-double of 22 kills and 13 digs. Madison Turner had 13 kills and two blocks while Ellie Watkins dished out a game-high 50 assists. Kenzie Fields led the A-State defense with 15 digs while Josie Stafford had four blocks.
