LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (10/23/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the Little Rock Invitational’s first two rounds Monday at the Chenal Country Club with a combined 589, placing the Red Wolves tied for third among 10 teams.
A-State ended each of today’s first two rounds tied for third place after opening with a 296 and coming back to cut three strokes off that total for the second 18 holes. The Red Wolves are currently tied with UT Arlington, while Little Rock leads the field with a 581 and Illinois State stands second with a 582.
The Red Wolves had three players finish the day among the top 20 individual leaders, including sophomore Zan Luka Stirn in a tie for second place, senior Tanner Napier in a tie for fourth and junior Joel Wendin in a tie for 18th.
