RUSTON, La. (3/31/18) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team earned its fifth victory of the season with a 4-0 victory over Grambling Saturday afternoon in Ruston, La.
The Red Wolves took the early advantage in the match by sweeping all three doubles’ matches to take the point. Berta Masdevall Masip and Anita Detlava improved their overall record to 6-6 with a 7-5 victory on court one, while Shelby King and Shannon O'Brien took a 6-3 triumph on court two to improve their mark to 8-6 on the year.
Allison Quammen and Sabina Jeresic, who were paired together for just the second time during the dual match season, also picked up a 6-2 victory on court two.
