JONESBORO, Ark. (2/7/21) – Wrapping up the first weekend of the spring schedule, the Arkansas State women's team fell in a non-conference matchup to SEMO 5-2 on Sunday at the indoor courts at RidgePointe Country Club.
A-State (0-2) swept the doubles' point with Thea Rice and Nejla Zukic taking a 6-3 decision over Kseniya Zonova and Teona Velkoska on court one. Jill Morse and Yasmine Humbert earned a 6-3 victory over Ksenia Shikanova and Vivian Lai on court three to seal the double's point. Shelby King and Amelia Guevremont completed the doubles' sweep with a 6-2 win over Romana Tarajova and Daniela Hlacikova.
