JONESBORO, Ark. (3/6/16) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team returned to the courts for the second consecutive day Sunday afternoon, but failed to end its losing skid with a 4-1 loss to Murray State at Allen Park.
Despite the setback, A-State had a strong effort in singles’ competition on the afternoon. Junior Julie Gauguery captured a point with a straight set 6-0, 6-1 win over Megan Blue in the top match. Gauguery looked effective in the outing and used her power and quickness to overwhelm Blue and win her second match of the year.
Sophomore Sabina Jeresic also played well in the No.
