FORT MYERS, Fla. (1/18/16) – The final day of the FGCU Spring Invite hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University concluded play Monday morning the final rounds of doubles’ play with the Arkansas State women’s tennis team earning a victory in one of their matches to end the tournament with five victories.
The doubles’ pair of Shelby King and Victoria Pisani earned a 6-4 victory over Northwestern State’s Illijana Ivic and Alzveta Ververkova to give the Red Wolves their first doubles’ win of the tournament.
The squad concluded the day with four more doubles’ matches.
