A-State Tennis Concluded Nashville Road Swing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (3/10/19) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team was defeated by Presbyterian College 4-3 Sunday afternoon in its final non-conference match before the start of league play.

The Red Wolves captured the doubles point with Anita Detlava and Berta Masdevall Masip earning a 6-2 victory on court one and Shelby King and Shannon O’Brien followed suit with a 6-4 win on court two.

The Blue Hose got the point back when Detlava lost to Samantha Calais 6-3, 6-1 on court three to kickoff singles’ competition and then took a lead in the match when Masdevall Masip dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision to Beth Taylor on court two.
