WAIKOLOA, Hawai’I (3/23/19) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team took runner-up honors Saturday at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic, completing the three-day tournament with a combined 911 and four players among the top-20 individual leaders.
The Red Wolves finished second behind champion Oklahoma State and ahead of six other teams, including Hawaii, Utah Valley, Georgia Southern, Towson, Osaka Gakuin and Hawaii Pacific. A-State improved its score each round, opening with a 308 that was followed by a second-round 305 and 298 today.
A-State was led by Aracelly Jimenez Rios and Maria Jose Atristain Vega, who both finished tied for fifth place with a 227 total.
