A-State Sweeps Cajuns to Move to 2-0 in SBC Play

LAFAYETTE, La. (3/14/25) – Arkansas State women's tennis wasted little time in picking up its third straight win, sweeping Louisiana 4-0 Friday morning at the Cajun Courts.

The Red Wolves (9-4, 2-0 SBC) surpassed last season's overall win total and matches their conference wins mark. A-State quickly claimed the doubles point before routing the Ragin' Cajuns (7-4, 0-2) in singles play. The nine overall victories are the most since 11 in 2012.

"This team is something special," freshman Loles Carbo Chova said. "The work we've put in is paying off, and it's incredible to see how well everyone is playing.
