DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (10/7/17) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team shot a second-round 312 Saturday at the Xavier Invitational, giving it a combined 631 and placing it sixth among eight teams through the three-day tournament’s first 36 holes played.
Arkansas State ended the first round tied for sixth place after posting a 319, and finished the second round in sole possession of sixth after cutting seven strokes off that total.
The Red Wolves broke their previous tie with Florida Atlantic and tied fifth-place Xavier’s second round score. A-State finds itself seven strokes behind Xavier and 14 behind fourth-place South Alabama heading into tomorrow’s final round.
