MEMPHIS, Tenn. (9/18/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the Memphis Intercollegiate’s opening two rounds in sixth place among 13 teams after shooting a combined 586 Monday at the Colonial Country Club.
The Red Wolves shot a first-round 299 that put them in eighth place, but improved their score by 12 strokes the following round to climb two places in the standings. A-State trails fifth-place Georgetown by just two strokes and is within five strokes of third-place Memphis. Little Rock and Middle Tennessee both shot a combined 577 to end the day tied atop the leaderboard.
