FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (10/26/18) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team went 3-2 and is in seventh place after two days of competition at the Bearcat Hammer Open being held at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights, Ill.
The Red Wolves opened the day with a 973-946 victory over Central Missouri, before falling to Lincoln Memorial 907-802 in the day’s second match. The team rebounded with a 963-800 victory over Lewis University before once again suffering a 1039-864 setback to Nebraska. A-State finished out the day with a 1072-906 victory over Lincoln-Memorial again.
After the second day of competition, Arkansas State is in seventh place with a total pinfall of 9,428 and trail Central Missouri by just five pins for sixth-place.
