STARKVILLE, Miss. (3/13/21) – Continuing the spring portion of the 2020-21 schedule, the Arkansas State women's soccer team was dealt a 2-0 loss Saturday afternoon at the MSU Soccer Field.
Mississippi State (4-4-3) took the lead in the 15th minute on an impressive strike by Hannah Telleysh. A turnover in the defensive third helped the Bulldogs ramp up the offensive pressure and Telleysh gathered the ball 25 yards away and sent a rocket to the left side of the net for the goal.
A-State (11-3-1) had a good chance to respond after Mississippi State was whistled offside.
