A-State Rolls Past South Alabama, 80-63

JONESBORO, Ark. (2/1/25) – Arkansas State women's basketball (14-7, 10-1 SBC) faced resistance from South Alabama (4-17, 0-10 SBC) early in the second half, but managed to pull away for an 80-63 win on Saturday afternoon at First National Bank Arena.

Zyion Shannon led the scoring effort with 22 points while Kennedie Montue (16) and Wynter Rogers (10) also reached double figures. Rogers also led the team in rebounds with 12, securing her second double-double this season and the fourth of her career.
