CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (9/17/18) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a second-round 276 Monday at the Golfweek Conference Challenge, giving the Red Wolves a two-day 553 at the Cedar Rapids Country Club while increasing their lead over second place to 11 strokes.
A-State entered today’s play with a four-stroke advantage over Jacksonville after posting a first-round 277 Sunday and cut one stroke off that total for the second 18 holes. While host-school Iowa moved up to second place by shooting a 283, A-State still extended its lead over the rest of the field by posting a score seven strokes lower than the Hawkeyes.
