BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (4/2/21) – On Friday at the UAB Spring Invite, several Arkansas State track and field athletes continued their strong start to the season, posting multiple bests and first marks.
The Scarlet and Black tallied seven top-five results on Friday, including a trio of event victories.
Eric Williams posted A-State's first event victory of the afternoon by taking the men's shot put, hurling the implement 15.05m (49-4.5). In the women's shot put, Evangelynn Harris won with a throw of 14.77m (48-5.5) followed by Grace Flowers' season-best mark of 14.
