SAN ANTONIO, Texas. (03/19/18) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the opening two rounds of the Lone Star Invitational tied for second place among a field of 15 teams after carding a 36-hole total of 578 Monday at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course.
Ranked No. 64 in the country by Golfstat, the Red Wolves shot a first-round 288 before adding a second-round 290. A-State sits 13 strokes back from tournament leader Oklahoma, which recorded a two-round score of 565. The Red Wolves are tied with UTEP and are three strokes ahead of New Mexico State, Little Rock, and UTSA, which are all tied for fourth place.
