PEARLAND, Texas (4/15/19) – The 28th-ranked Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a combined 583 Monday at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic to complete the 54-hole tournament’s opening two rounds tied for fourth place among 14 teams.
Playing its final tournament before the Sun Belt Conference Championships, A-State shot a 289 and 294 for the first and second rounds, respectively, at the Golfcrest Country Club. The Red Wolves are currently tied with Abilene Christian and within two strokes of second-place George Washington, while Sam Houston State leads the field with a 569.
A-State was led by Zan Luka Stirn, who posted a 138 to place him in a tie for second.
