JONESBORO, Ark. (4/1/19) – Hosting the 23rd Annual Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, the Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the 54-hole tournament’s opening two rounds Monday at the RidgePointe Country Club with a combined 578 to place it atop the 11-team field.
Ranked 28th in the nation, the Red Wolves ended the day with all seven of their competing golfers among the top 21 individual leaders. Zan Luka Stirn led A-State with a 142 and currently stands tied for second place.
A-State began play with a 287 and followed with a second-round 291, giving it a seven-stroke lead over second-place ULM.
