JONESBORO, Ark. (04/02/18) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team completed the first two rounds of its annual home tournament, the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, Monday at the RidgePointe Country Club with a pair of squads leading the 14-team field and nine players among the top-25 individuals.
Led by sophomore Matthew Cole, the Red Wolves’ team in first place posted a first round score of 273, a tournament record, followed by a second-round 276 to record a 36-hole 549. The A-State squad in second place carded a first-round 282 followed by a second-round 283 to end the day with a combined 565.
