JONESBORO, Ark. (5/11/19) – The Arkansas State track and field teams are in position to challenge for the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championship as day two was completed Saturday at the A-State Track & Field Complex.
The A-State women enter the third and final day of competition in second on the team scoring leaderboard with 56 points scored. South Alabama leads with 98 points and Texas State is third with 47. The A-State men are fifth in the standings with 30 points scored behind Louisiana (57), Texas State (42), Coastal Carolina (36) and ULM (31).
Hayden Hampton wrapped up the two-day decathlon with a point total of 6,976 points to finish second for eight team points.
