ZIONSVILLE, IN. (9/8/17) – The Arkansas State men’s golf team shot a combined score of 288 after the first round of competition at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate to place in a tie for second place among 16 teams.
The Red Wolves finished the day four shots behind tournament leader Kentucky, who fired a team score of 284 to finish at even-par. North Carolina State is in a tie for second-place with A-State with a four-over-par 288. Miami (OH) is in fourth place with a six-over-par 290, while Central Florida rounds the top-5 with an eight-over-par 290.
Arkansas State sophomore Zan Luka Stirn paced the team with a 1-under-par 70 to place a in a seven-way tie for second place on the individual leaderboard.
