DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (4/20/21) – After a lightning delay this morning and rain throughout much of championship, the course at LPGA International was deemed unplayable canceling the final round of the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship. The Arkansas State women's golf team finished sixth among the 11 teams in the weather-shortened championship.
Several groups were able to tee off in the final round, but inclement weather stopped play until 11:45 a.m. (CT). After a brief return to play, weather again stopped play and the decision was made to cancel the final round.
A-State finished play in sixth with a 36-hole total of 599, one stroke behind fifth-place Troy and two strokes shy of fourth-place South Alabama.
