JONESBORO, Ark. (2/16/25) – The fourth-ranked Arkansas State women's bowling team finished sixth among 18 teams, 13 that are ranked among the top 17 teams nationally.
A-State (62-28) opened bracket play against No. 5 Youngstown State and fell in a decisive game seven. The Red Wolves took game one, 244-211, but the Penguins evened it up with a 192-182 tally in game two. A-State responded in game three, 211-173, to lead 2-1, but Youngstown State once again evened the series with a 227-213 margin in game four. The Penguins led 3-2 after a 220-193 tally in game four, but A-State forced game seven with a 254-248 comeback in game six.
