MANHATTAN, Kan. (9/19/17) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team wrapped up play Tuesday at its season-opening tournament, finishing the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational in sixth place among nine teams with a combined 908.
Although the Red Wolves dropped from fourth place after the initial round to sixth in the final standings, both their second and third-round scores were lower than their total posted for the initial 18 holes.
A-State opened play at the tourney on Sunday at Colbert Hills Golf Course by shooting a 306 and then followed with a second-round 299 before recording a 303 today.
