MOBILE, Ala. (3/4/17) – The Arkansas State women’s basketball team dropped its regular season finale Saturday with a 71-49 setback to South Alabama at the Mitchell Center.
With the loss, the Red Wolves finish the season with a 6-24 overall record and a 4-14 mark in the Sun Belt. Arkansas State will enter the Sun Belt Championship Tournament as the No. 11 seed, which is set to begin on Tuesday, March 7. The final bracket, with matchups and times will be released Saturday evening.
Payton Tennison led A-State and tied a career-high with 11 points, while Jada Ford also finished with 11 points.
