A-State Falls At Louisiana, 83-43

LAFAYETTE, La. (1/23/19) – On Thursday night at the Cajundome, Arkansas State dropped an 83-43 decision at Louisiana in Sun Belt Conference action.

The Ragin' Cajuns (12-6, 5-2 SBC) shot 50.9 percent from the field on 29-of-57 shooting, including going 11-of-25 (44.0 percent) from beyond the arc. The Red Wolves (7-11, 4-3) were led in scoring by nine points each from Jireh Washington and Morgan Wallace.

As a team, A-State shot 37.5 percent from the floor (15-of-40) and went 11-of-19 at the free-throw line (57.9 percent). Louisiana out-rebounded the Red Wolves 33-23, while forcing 20 turnovers.
