JONESBORO, Ark. (3/29/25) – Arkansas State women's tennis saw its six-match home winning streak end on Saturday, as it dropped a 4-1 decision to Appalachian State inside the Ridgepointe Country Club Tennis Center.
A-State (11-6, 4-2 SBC) battled in doubles, but the Mountaineers (11-5, 4-2) ultimately clinched the tightly-contested point on a Court 1 tiebreaker. Carla Muro Castellvi secured the Red Wolves' point with a straight-set win in singles play.
The Red Wolves secured early momentum in the doubles point when Sarah Millard and Hanmare McAslin won 6-3 on Court 3 over App's Alexi Cleveland and Olwyn Ryan-Bovey.
