NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. (4/10/21) – Facing elimination Saturday morning against No. 1 overall seed McKendree, the Arkansas State bowling team won the mega-match 2-1 to advance to the National Collegiate Bowling Championship match against Nebraska Saturday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
Despite a slow start early in the traditional match, A-State took a 1-0 lead in the mega-match by way of a 1,091-1,056 margin. All five Red Wolves rolled over 200 with Faith Welch leading the way at 237. Taylor Davis rolled a 224 while Averi Brown and Brooklyn Boudreau each rolled a 214, respectively, and Sarah Sanes totaled 202.
