BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (2/7/21) – It was a super Sunday for Arkansas State track and field, especially its distance athletes, featuring a pair of school records and multiple top-two results at the Jaguar Invitational, held at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
The Red Wolves accounted for 17 personal-best performances, 14 top-three finishes and six victories.
Pauline Meyer opened the day by crushing Kristina Aubert's 10-year-old school record in the women's 3000m, winning in 9:32.73. Elizabeth Martin placed sixth, running a personal-best 10:07.26 that moved her up to ninth in A-State indoor history in the event.
