With the win, the Red Wolves advance to 17-11 overall and 9-6 in Sun Belt action, while the Warhawks dropped to 11-18 overall and 3-12 in the league.
“Our girls fought hard tonight and we’re happy to get that win,” Said A-State head coach David Rehr. “The win helps improve overall standing for the conference tournament next week. We’re glad to celebrate this win and also celebrate Carlisa for her record-breaking career.”
Carlisa May led the A-State offense with a double-double of 24 kills and 11 digs, while also becoming A-State’s all-time kill leader with 1,794 kills on her career.
