CONWAY, Ark. (9/21/19) – The Arkansas State women’s tennis team kicked off its 2019 fall tournament season with an in-state trip to Conway, Ark., to participate in the Central Arkansas Fall Invitational.
The tournament began on Friday with two rounds of doubles’ competition and continued into Saturday with three rounds of singles’ flights and another round of doubles flight brackets. Over the course of the tournament, Arkansas State captured four doubles wins and 12 singles victories.
“Our depth was really good and that is as consistent of a competitive effort as I could have asked for in our first fall tournament,” said A-State head coach Kel Lange.
