ST. LOUIS, Mo. (4/12/18) – The third-seeded Arkansas State women’s bowling team went 1-1 to close out day one of the 2018 NCAA Bowling Championship held at Tropicana Lanes in St. Louis, Mo.
A-State (88-35) quickly swept six-seeded North Carolina A&T, which advanced the team in the winners’ bracket during round two. In the first traditional match, the Red Wolves won by score of 1,112-929 behind leading scorers Taylor Davis (266), Leah Glazer (235) and Jordan Richard (234). The squad used that momentum to carry them into a 1,133-886 win in the five-game Baker match to save their spot in the winners’ bracket.
