JONESBORO, Ark. (8/25/24) – Despite multiple opportunities for both sides, Arkansas State women's soccer (2-0-1) and Murray State (1-2-1) were unable to find the net as the contest finished in a tie on Sunday afternoon at the A-State Soccer Complex.
Damaris Deschaine picked up her third clean sheet of the season after recording five saves over 90 minutes, including a diving effort in the 59th minute that thwarted a would-be goal for the Racers.
Both sides took six shots and two shots-on-goal in the first half, but A-State had four fouls compared to one for the Racers.
