LAFAYETTE, La. (4/14/16) – The Arkansas State offense collected seven hits off the Louisiana pitching staff, it was not enough at the Ragin’ Cajuns defeated Arkansas State 13-2 in the second game of the three-game series Friday night at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.
Louisiana got to Peyton Culbertson from the start of the game when Ishmael Edwards tripled to lead off the game. He later scored on an RBI groundout by Brad Antchak. The Ragin’ Cajuns scored again later in the inning when Kennon Fotenot doubled to left centerfield that brought in Steven Sensley to give UL a 2-0 advantage.
