Following the loss, A-State fell to 23-21 overall and 9-12 in the Sun Belt Conference while ULM improved to 19-24 overall and 8-12 in the league.
Zech Jarrard (2-3) pitched 3.1 innings in relief, allowing three runs on one hit with three walks and two strikeouts. Chandler Coates also seen action out of the bullpen, pitching 3.1 scoreless innings with three walks and two punchouts.
ULM rallied in the fifth inning, tacking on a three-spot, when Colin Gordon scored on a wild pitch, Brendon Barrett scored on a fielder’s choice and Andrew Beesley singled through the right side to welcome home Brendon Jordan.
