Zvonimir Ivisic's form could be decisive for Arkansas men's basketball down the stretch

FAYETTEVILLE — Zvonimir Ivisic loaded yet another three-point attempt, 1 of his 9 shots from the perimeter, with the Arkansas men’s basketball team running toward Alabama’s narrowing lead Saturday.

The 7-2 sophomore big, whose shot has a naturally high release and arc, sank the attempt and sent Bud Walton Arena to its loudest moment of the season.

The Razorbacks lost to the No. 3 Crimson Tide 85-81, snapping a run of two consecutive wins and three in four games, but saw the culmination of form for their Croatian forward.

Ivisic finished with a career-high 27 points — the second time he’s set a career scoring mark against Alabama — and 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals and 2 assists.
