FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas upped its pledge count for the 2019 class to 12 Saturday morning when Richmond, Texas, Fort Bend Travis linebacker Zach Zimos publicly announced his intention to sign with the Razorbacks.
Zimos (6-4, 215), a three-star prospect, per ESPN, who is in Fayetteville this weekend for the Woo Pig Nic cookout, had originally committed to California in May before re-opening his recruitment.
He let Arkansas coaches know Friday night that he had chosen the Razorbacks over Missouri, California, Texas Tech, Boise State, Purdue, Houston, SMU, Tulsa and others.
“I just feel like it was a really good fit for me, the way the coaching staff is and I was just really impressed with everything about Arkansas,” Zimos said.
